My Tips + Frequently Asked Questions

Choosing The Perfect Pork Chop Cut

To get the juiciest pork chop, choose thick cut pieces that have great marbling! While I’m all for lean meats in meals, this recipe works best with a fattier pork chop. This will give the most tender results.

The three chops I like to use in this recipe are: blade, shoulder, or sirloin. Boneless are a great option as well, just make sure there is a good amount of marbling to make up for the lost juiciness coming from the bone.

Go Low And Slow!

The beauty of using the Crockpot to make your pork chops is it takes the guesswork out of the recipe altogether! Place your pork chops in and forget about them until dinner comes. This way, the fat has enough time to melt into the meat for that tender result we all want.

My Pork Chops Don’t Feel Tender. What Do I Do?

Place your pork chops back in the Crockpot and give them more time. The beauty of the Crockpot is there is little-to-no chance of ruining your dish. Just wait a little longer and check again.

How Do I Store My Leftovers?

Keep your leftover Crockpot pork chops in an airtight container for 3-5 days. These are still incredibly juicy days after- just reheat!
