Addictive Ooey Gooey Chex Mix

This stuff is highly addictive! Like my husband and I both cannot be left alone with this ooey gooey Chex mix! The worst part of it all is that right now my baby is getting up to eat every 2 hours. So I have been snacking on this stuff all through out the night! Its getting out of hand over here!

Not only is this one of my favorite snacks it is also one of my favorite things to take on a road trip, girls night, or a movie night! Ultimately I can just eat it anywhere! It makes a very large batch so if you don’t trust yourself around this highly addictive snack half it! Thats probably what I should do instead of sitting there eating it all!

Ooey Gooey Chex Mix
3/4 cup butter
1 1/4 cups light corn syrup
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon coconut extract

In a large bowl mix together chex mix, golden grahams, coconut, and almonds. In a medium saucepan melt butter and stir in corn syrup and sugar. Bring to a boil for 2 minutes. Then remove from heat and add the coconut extract. Pour the mixture over the chex mix mixture and mix well. Stir for a couple of minutes making sure that all the cereal is coated! If it is too wet add more cereal. Spread on a cookie sheet and let dry. Then eat up!

* You can also add m&ms or candy corn to jazz it up for holiday season! I have also added life cereal instead of golden grahams*
