How to Make Quinoa Turkey Sliders
Quinoa Turkey Sliders
Ingredients
- 1 cup packed fresh mint leaves
- 1 cup packed fresh cilantro leaves
- 1/4 cup sliced natural or blanched almonds
- 1 jalapeno,seeded and coarsely chopped
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- water
- 3 Tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 cup quinoa, rinsed and drained in a fine sieve
- Kosher salt to taste
- 2 green onions, white and green parts, sliced
- 1 (1/2 pound) package Honeysuckle White 93% Fat Free Ground Turkey
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, preferably Aleppo pepper
- Cooking oil spray
- 1 dozen dinner rolls, split
- Thinly sliced red onions
