Peanut Butter and Banana Steel-Cut Oatmeal

My youngest son is obsessed with oatmeal. It is always his favorite food on the questionaries that they do at school. Maple & Brown Sugar is his fav! The only problem with oatmeal each morning is that it takes a little longer on busy before school mornings. He is also my child who is very particular! If something is too hot, too cold, too spicy, or too sweet he will have nothing to do with it!

When I discovered this oatmeal I was surprised and ecstatic! And I love steel cut oats more then any other type of oatmeal! So honestly it was a match made in heaven for our home! My son will eat this straight up just the way it is! But I wanted to throw in one of my favorite oatmeal combinations to share with you all! So here it is! Peanut butter and banana steel cut oats!

So here is the line up….

Pour oatmeal into bowl

Add half of a banana smashed up

Mix in a scoop of peanut butter

 Stir it on up!

Sprinkle on some brown sugar and cinnamon

Top with some sliced bananas

Drizzle on some honey

Serve it on up!
