This dish is right up my families alley! My kids are huge steak lovers! All of them! Im not gunna lie sometimes I just say that any type of beef is "steak" just so they will eat it. And it works every time! Along with steak my kids will eat piles of snap peas and edamame.
Sesame Beef and Noodle Stir Fry
1 lb flank steak
1 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic
2 teaspoons minced ginger
1 cup toasted sesame dressing and marinade
1/3 cup apple juice
2 Tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon red peper flakes
1 teaspoon black pepper
16 ounces frozen stir fry veggies
2 (7 ounce) packages of Udon Noodles (seasoning sauce packets discarded) -these are found in the refrigerated section at the grocery store
2 Tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
In a large ziplock bag combine minced garlic, minced ginger, marinade, apple juice, soy sauce, red pepper flakes, and black pepper. Shake really well. Then add the flank steaks. Marinade 1 hour or overnight if possible.
In a skillet cook the steaks. Discard the remaining marinade. Cook steaks for a few minutes on each side. Then remove steaks and place on a plate and let sit for a few minutes while you finish cooking the rest.
Throw in the stir fry vegetables into the remaining steak juices. Cook according to the back of the package. Once they are cooked toss in the udon noodles. Cook for a few minutes. While they are cooking slice up the steak into strips. Once the vegetables and noodles are all combined add in the steaks and mix. Top with sesame seeds and serve!

I grew up loving these cookies so much! When my mom would make them they were gone in seconds! I think it also doesn't help that each cookie takes 2 cookies to make a sandwich! We would always run into the kitchen when they were done and eat them until we were sick!
My kids love them just as much! Some of them lick the frosting out of the middle and some of them eat them entirely! They are super yummy and super simple! Just how we like it in our family!
2 pkg. Devils food cake mix
1 1/3 cups butter, softened
Mic together with electric mixer. Share into nickel size dough balls. Bake at 350 degrees F for 8 minutes. Let cool for a few minutes and then frost bottom size with butter cream frosting; top with another cookie.
1 lb powdered sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 to 3 Tablespoons milk, to desires consistency and beat until creamy
One of my favorite things about being a food blogger is having the chance to work with brands that I already love. Stonyfield has always been one of those companies. Besides the taste and quality of ingredients another thing I love is getting to know the companies better.

I received a fun package full of some pretty amazing products that are also part of the B Corporation! There is nothing quite like getting a package with this label on it! YUM!

King Arthur is one of my very favorite product lines! They have an amazing Bake For Good program they do to help solve hunger through out the world! As well as being part of the B Corp and the certifications that go along with being part of it!
Method is being very climate conscious with lowering their carbon emissions in every aspect of their company from manufacturing to business operations. Along with making their products animal friendly and their environmental friendly packaging.
Pukka was a brand that I have never tried! Famous for their herbal teas in the United States and UK. They believe in our responsibility to love ourselves and life.
Purely Elizabeth is another brand part of the B corp! They donate 1% of their sales to non profit organizations that are striving to help preserve the planet. They also have environmental friendly packaging as well as organic products. They really focus on creating healthy products for their consumers with nutrient rich products and their superfood line. Along with the first probiotic granola!
Preserve products are all about being made from recycled products and having no waste. They have their Gimme 5 Program where they collect #5 plastics such as yogurt cups and other house hold containers and recycling them to create new products! All while doing their recycling in the USA. They are helping make a change in the world by their massive movement in recycling!
Pete & Gerry's Organic Eggs are also apart of the B-Corporation! Not only are they the 1st certified humane egg producer they are have been apart of the B-Corp since 2013! They were the 1st egg producer to become part of it! They believe in not going industrial and believe in free range chickens without antibiotics, hormones, pesticides and GMOs.

With my daughters Unicorn party coming up I knew that I wanted to do something different then cupcakes. I wanted to come up with something that would look just as cute as it tastes and that it would be a little different then normal.
So I looked and found some rainbow in a jar recipes that were all over Pinterest. Some you cut and scoop after you bake and others you bake right in the jar! With the party chaos happening and the actual party only starting in a few hours I whipped up these rainbow cake in a jar and let them cool for an hour and then topped then with frosting and cupcake toppers from Party Parcels and they were a huge hit at the party!
And bonus was they were super easy to make!

Rainbow Cake In A Jar
2 white cake mixes+ (the right amount of water, eggs, and vegetable oil on the back of the box) x2
food coloring (this is the kind that I used) (purple, blue, yellow, pink)
14 (8 ounce) mason jars
1/2 cup butter, softened
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 lb powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
milk if necessary
Make the white cake mixes according to the directions on the back with the correct amount of water, vegetable oil and eggs. Mix well. Add 1/2 cup of the batter in 4 different bowls. (If there is any remaining batter equally add it into each bowl. Take a toothpick and add a dot of 1 of the colors into a bowl of batter. Mix it together and add more food coloring depending on how bright you want your cols to be. Move onto the next color and repeat the steps until all 4 colors are completed.
Then grab the jars and add a generous amount of non stick spray. Then take a cookie scoop and starting with purple add a scoop of the batter to the jar. In the end you are going to want the jar to be filled half way full. So divide the bottom half of the jar into fourths and add each color the right amount.
Fill the jar with all the colors I started with purple then blue then yellow and the topped with pink!
Grab a 9x13 baking dish and place the jars in them not touching and bake at 350 degrees and bake the 8 ounce jars for 25 minutes. Check with a toothpick. And take out when toothpick comes out clean. (if you are using bigger normal size mason jars bake for 35 minutes)
Let cool for 1 hour and then make frosting by mixing all ingredients together and then frost the top of the cakes. If the cake rising above the jar cut off the top to create a flat place for the frosting to go. Top with sprinkles and a cupcake topper!
