Simple Hootenanny or German Pancakes

Hootenanny Pancakes

These easy pancakes are called Hootenanny, German, Growing Pancakes or honestly whatever you want to call them. But my new name is Easy Blender Pancakes

On Sunday I was starting to make homemade biscuits when my 7 year old came in and requested pancakes instead! If you could see my little boys face you would pretty much do whatever he says! He is a little dreamboat I tell you. He also wanted to help make them. I had been wanting to make these pancakes for my family for a while and when I realized it was throw stuff in a blender, put in a pan and serve I was all about it!

These blender pancakes are made with ingredients you have on hand! They are so fast to make. With very little clean up. The thing that took the longest was preheating the oven! So many sure you do that first or you will be waiting around like me! So here it goes! EASY Hootenanny Pancakes

Hootenanny Pancakes

6 eggs
1 cup flour
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
Mix all together in a blender!
1/4 cup butter
Begin preheating oven to 450 degrees F.  While it is preheating grab a 9×13 baking dish and put the 1/4 cup butter in it. Pop in the oven (while it is still preheating) and let the butter melt.
Then pour the ingredients from the blender in the pan right on top of the melted butter and put in the preheated oven for 15 minutes!
Remove from oven and top with powdered sugar, berries, lemon juice, cinnamon, etc.

Buttermilk syrup

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup buttermilk
3/4 cup sugar
Put in a saucepan over medium heat and stir. Heat until it is boiling then remove from stove.
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
Then serve!
